After the latest update of the browser extension, the function of launching extensions via hotkeys began to work unstable

I've noticed this problem where the hotkeys for launching the extension don’t always work anymore. That never used to happen before. And if you refresh the tab where this function won’t launch with the hotkey anymore, then suddenly it’ll work again, but after a while it might just stop working. Sometimes the problem just fixes itself, and the hotkeys start working again without having to reload the tab.

And, honestly, it also just feels like the extension is hogging way more CPU and RAM now—like, when you open a bunch of tabs in Chrome, your computer suddenly starts lagging hard. Again, I don’t remember having issues like this before.

Most likely, these two problems are connected—since there’s now more load on the processor and RAM, it looks like some sort of optimization kicks in inside Google Chrome, and that’s why certain features—like launching an extension with hotkeys—get temporarily turned off.
