Lagging Response
One irritating problem is that when I press an icon for a transcription, it takes a few seconds for my voice to be recorded. As a result, the first one to five words are completely ignored, which completely messes up the transcript. Is there some way of making the whole process faster? My XPS laptop has terrible function keys. Is anyone using a USB‑based external keypad? Will this speed up the responsiveness at the start of a transcription?
Icons.
It would be great if the icons could indicate the language as an option—perhaps a flag or a letter—so it’s unmistakably clear which language is being translated into.
Input Method Write Mode in Browser extension
Hi Blabby Team, First of all, great work on the app! I noticed that in the Input Method settings (v2.1.1), there are currently options for Paste Mode and Write Mode. However, an option for the Browser Extension integration seems to be missing. It would be super helpful to have a dedicated Input Method setting/option specifically tailored for interactions via the Browser Extension. Thanks for considering this! Best regards,
Simulate Typing
Is it possible to enable a "Simulate Typing" option in Blabby AI so that text is inserted as keystrokes? On the platform I use for work, inserting text via clipboard triggers an anti-copy/paste warning, so a simulated keyboard input would solve this issue. Thanks!
For the keyboard shortcut on Chrome, when I assign control space, it is getting activated both control space and control shift space So effectively, it is taking up both the keyboard shortcut instead of taking just one

Snippets
Snippets creation and editing, like expanding small phases into something defined. like dictate - my email - returning yourmail@zzz.com would be great.
Custom Modes got deleted?
Somehow all my custom modes are gone, which is pretty sad! I refined them more and more and, to be honest, didn’t expect them to just vanish. I am logged in with my account. Can you restore my custom modes?
Arrangement in the toolbar
It would be perfect if the icons in the toolbar could be sorted. Currently, they are just arranged in the order they were added.
Meeting request
Hello blabby team. I'd like to have a conversation with you. What would be the best way to do this?
modify tool bar appearance a little more
I love this extension! I love the dot appearance! Wish we could combine dot appearance and define, what should be visible when extended. Personally I almost never switch input language and only want to switch the custom modes very often. At the moment I have to remember the shortcuts. I would love to be able to use “dot” appearance and also be able to change whats visible in the “extended” tool bar!

I’m having issues when trying to edit AI instructions, model, and toolbar icon.
Some new features I would like to be added.
First, I would like the option to disable the dot in the end of each sentence. Secondly, I would like an option to say question mark and then a question mark will be added. And third, I would like the second feature to work on more things like enter, columns, and more.
Keyboard shortcuts
HI team, great product you’ve built!! I am wondering if you could consider adding shortcuts for the user to add full stops, commas, colons or any punctuation desired. I know Whisper adds full stops however it generally means the user needs to pause. If we had the opportunity to tap a shortcut quickly, it woudl speed things up.
Add feature to read aloud any selected text on websites and optionally generate a spoken summary.
It would be extremely helpful if Whisper (or any related speech/assistant feature) supported reading aloud selected text on any website, blog, or online article. The idea is that the user highlights a passage, and the system will: Convert the selected text directly into speech (Text-to-Speech). Optionally generate a short summary and speak the summarized version as well.
