Please let us get rid of any bars bubbles and all that. Just make it work on a shortcut and that's it. Seriously who needs any other options? And if they need, just make it optional to have any bars, etc.
Especially now, the bar on the bottom made me almost immediately uninstall this, but I really enjoy the plugin overall.

I think the problem I have is that I need to ensure the app is working. If I rely on shortcuts and it doesn't start, I have no way of getting into the app to change anything.
However, I agree that perhaps the button could optionally be very small or positioned somewhere else in the window where it doesn't bother anyone.

100% agreed, I love this application but this new placement and the fact that you can't move it around is absolutely horrible. I almost uninstalled it as well, it blocks a lot of major applications like the input field on whatsapp web and many others.

Would you like the option to hide the bar unless it's recording? It wouldn’t appear at the bottom when you click a text box but would show while recording and disappear after transcription.

Not the OP, of course, but that would personally be my preference too. But perhaps you could give users the option as to how they’d like it displayed?
I'd guess that UI preferences are as unique as personalities. I err on the side of the less visual clutter the better - so the wider container always being there distracts me a bit now!

Is it possible to have it displayed as a dot near the field where the input will occur? This helps identify exactly where the text will be entered and uses this extension. Also, pressing this button would open the specific window for recording. But I get that the issue was that every site has its own design, so the simplest solution was to pin it to a specific spot to avoid adapting it to each site.
You can merge both the old option and the current one. So, there's a dot, and when you click on it, this window from pops up below. In this way, you combine the old idea with the new development.
