This keeps randomly appearing

I'm a bit confused as to whether this is a intended UI functionality but I don't think so because there isn't a wake word feature as far as I know.

I've noticed that this seems to keep popping up even when I'm not actively using the extension.

Perhaps it's getting confused with microphone use in other tabs or they are inadvertently triggering whisper even though they don't use the shortcut

Just in case that is indeed what's happening, you might need to add some logic to avoid misinterpreting microphone usage from other web API calls and not have that usage deduct from their credits.
